so i got a new job. i'm working as the exhibit technician for the freedom museum, opening in april in the tribune building downtown. at first i hated it. i was bored and i still am not a fan of taking the train downtown. i can't stand the crowds and the greyness and lack of open space and nature bums me out.
its getting better, though. the people around the office are very nice for the most part, especially the attractive young ladies;) i've been getting more responsibilities, too. some are boring, some are not, but its turning out that the 'exhibit technician' is really just a fancy name for 'guy in charge of everything that has electrons flowing through it'.
when i first started i wondered what i had gotten myself into, and was considering quitting. on my 4th day, shure finally called me for an interview. it was a bad day at the museum, so i went and heard them out. its still possible i'd jump ship if they made me a better offer, but as i said, i'm starting to take a bit of a liking to the place...just a little.
look at this! two straight updates without mentioning hockey! the hockey update will probably be next. there's a lot of hockey to update. until then, keep watching the skis!...i mean skies....
