Let's see, so we'll start with the bad stuff:
Friday night we had an away football game at Kenston. OUr football team got CRUSHED, as per usual, but it really sucked because it was cold and it was raining and the field was muddy. I also slipped when I was marching once.
Second Brian Greshcow [this guy who plays Sax in Band] was being retarded [as always] and he wouldn't talk to me. He does this periodically... usually when I'm not wearing form-fitting clothes, which honestly bothers me. Alot. Oh well, such are the lovely boys at Brush High. Don't you want one?
The third bad thing is that today is mine and Darin's 7 month, and he's in Lorain so I won't see him until tomorrow night. Oh well, I love him no matter what. And I've talked with him on the phone, it's ok.
But the fourth and most worstest bad thing is my friend Katz. He left for a college a while ago, and I guess it's not suiting him very well. I mean, he's a really cool guy, but he doesn't drink or smoke, so he feels like he's not fitting in. Which really sucks because he's always been there for me when I had a problem and I feel like I haven't been there for him. I just hope that sometimes soon everything picks up for the better in his life.
Ok, enough about bad stuff. It's depressing. On to the good things in my life!!
I had a horseback riding lesson today with Jeanine. I rode this 17.1hh thoroughbred, named Tam. He was really cool. BIG, but he was so sweet. I learned to leg yield [that thing where the horse is pointed straight, but moving sideways] it was really nifty, and felt totally awesome when we did it right. Then we practiced jumping. We just did crossrails and a couple fences. We're working on my position, and "sticking my butt out" so that my back is flat and I stay over the saddle, instead of infront of it. Also letting the horse close my hip angle when going over a fence. So i had a good lesson.
Tomorrow I'm going to Huntington to ride Charlie. I'm going to use the German Martingale on him again this time. I swear, by the time summer comes around he WILL have a headset. I'm going to work on jumping and leg yielding and bending, mostly. Of course, I'll go over lead changes at the canter, sidepassing, backing, turns on the haunches and forehand, extended trot, showmanship commands and parking out. I'm trying to teach him that too. I don't know if I'll be successful, but it doesn't hurt to try!
Oh, also tonight I might get the Saddle Seat saddle. We're bidding on it on E-Bay and so far we have the high bid. Wish me luck!
