Shadow of the Hegemon, Shadow Puppets, and Shadow of the Giant have all been read by me in the past week. My preference is for the this series over the Speaker for the Dead sequence. Because of players being out of town, I had to cancel gaming for tonight. But just so I didn't have too much time on my hands, I just had the opportunity to play a game of soccer. Wonderful weather for it too, 65 - 70 and partly cloudy. Whee! Now to work for a couple more hours.

Second item of random linkage! Super Smash Brothers Brawl! As someone else has said, this alone is a reason to buy a Wii. :)

I spent Monday and Tuesday working on an algorithm, which should improve performance in my current tests. I can't wait for a set of 'public' results, so I can point and say "Look at that!" I had another good Iaido class on Tuesday. I am slightly fearful that I may have to know all 12 katas by this summer and take the first test, but with luck I can dodge this for another 6 months or more. It would be nice if I could find some time to practice, but my "free time" budget is running a deficit.
