Random News Item N
In random news item 1: the Cincinnati Reds retain the lead of NL Central after defeating the Cardinals in their 2 game series. However, I still dislike the NLC as it always is a very competitive division (19-8 is only worth a 2 game lead over 2 teams). I would be happy about the AL West's weakness except that is lead by the Mariners. *Sigh*
In random news item 2: I'll be in Pittsburgh in 2.5 weeks for CMU's graduation, which may not be as "exciting" as a Carnival visit, but *shrug* :~)
In random news item 3: I think that I just might be able to go to Iaido this evening. For some reason, I never exactly look forward to it, yet always enjoy the time that I'm there, so I keep going knowing that I will enjoy it even if the overhead seems daunting at first. Quite similar to climbing in fact. I mean, who looks forward to waking up at 5 am, driving for 2 hours, then hiking up the side of a mountain for 4 hours only to stop at a peak for 10 minutes before reversing the entire journey.... Or something like that. :-D
