I've been enjoying the company of my friend Dennis. He's in from Texas and we're exploring some of my favorite places in southern California before he heads up Highway 1 on his Pacific Coast quest.
Yesterday I speared my first fish during our snorkel/walkabout in Laguna Beach. He's brought good luck, great conversation, and even some Yerba Mate to the Gump abode.
Today we might take the bikes up to Santa Monica Mnts. and then later explore more of LA. Perhaps onward in the coming days to Santa Barbara to visit my brother before roaming further north towards San Luis Obispo, don't know exactly when we'll part ways, but I'm glad we've gotten to hang out, he's an interesting person to say the least.
