On the road again

Santa Fe is Ok, Albuquerque is better.
Right now I'm in the former and have a few days to burn. No one from either of the couchsurfing websites was able to host here so we're in a hostel. It's ok, but paying money is something I generally look to avoid.

The food in New Mexico is probably the best part, delectable green chili on everything. Had the best chile rellenos yesterday that I've ever had. Might hook up (for gas money) with some other guy who has a car at our hostel to check out some of the areas outside of town that are legit native american towns (not like the sad representation of Indian culture on display in town where they sit with blankets full of art to sell to the yuppies) set against beautifully desolate landscapes.

There's supposed to be some cool folk art museum here that's just crazy full of wild stuff, that and the Georgia Okeffe museum should keep us busy tommorrow. throw in an eveing hike and we'll call it a day.
