My LG Plasma TV (Model RT-42PZ60) is currently displaying a pink screen for the AV-1 and TV modes.

I've done a bit of reading and it seems that something could have failed in the TV somewhere. It has shown up before now, although it was only once or twice in isolated incidents and I fixed it by turning it off and then on again. It was working fine ( Read more... )

Earlier today, some idiot wrapped Daddy's Ferrari around a telegraph pole.  Needless to say, the car is a complete write off.  I hope he is never allowed to drive again.

Today's SMH has an article about the announced Land Speed Record attempt by the folks who currently hold the record.  They've announced that their planned 'car' will consist of two rockets and a jet engine and that they hope to reach speeds of 1600km/h+.

Well, it's that time again, the rednecks have returned to Bathurst again for that annual festival of burning rubber and oily engines.  The silly season that is the Bathurst 1000 is on again and it's been forecasted to be a big one - something like 180,000 people to attend over the 4 days.

My respect for the Chinese government hasn't improved with their handling of the Olympic games.  Let's hope England does a better job in 4 years time.

My God, I was emo on the weekend.  Weddings do that to me...  Every wedding I go to makes me think I wish I could have mine again.  I was too young, and didn't take it seriously enough. :/  *sigh*
