Well, after getting confirmation of signing the lease on Friday morning, Friday and Saturday will be our moving days.

I've booked a truck from CSU for the weekend, so it's all systems go for moving house.

Well, Sunday's soccer game was a lot of fun. I actually got to play this week, albeit as an outfielder and not a keeper due to the contacts issue. I played about 15 minutes of the first half on the right wing which wasn't too bad. I got a bit of the ball, with a few good passes through to the forwards. Well, I'm still not quite over being sick yet. Last night I could well have coughed up a vital organ once or twice, at least it felt like it. We heard back from the real estate today saying that the owners are going to go ahead and put new carpet in. This will actually put the rent up for $15 to $275 per week, which almost made me choke, but Sal is confident it's not out of our budget. I'll believe it when I see it... Oh well...

We had a phone call from the real estate yesterday saying our application was all in order and approved with the only thing left to do is check with the owners. Apparently the real estate are going to ask if they want to put new carpet in before we move in also, which is the only issue we had with the place ( Read more... )

Have you ever driven somewhere, but when you arrive, you wonder what the hell happened and that you seemed to have arrived on autopilot?
