Yesterday was election day here in Canada. I am very interested in how our government is run and who runs it, so I always vote, and I always stay up late to watch the election returns come in. Sometimes, life is full of surprises - of the good kind. Yesterday when my daughter asked her Dad if he was okay with her having a dozen friends over for her birthday, his response surprised her. So, Cdn. PM Harper is "deeply troubled" by the alleged proposals for legislation in Afghanistan that would make it illegal for a woman to refuse her husband sex, leave the house without his permission, or have custody of children.
