This was a speaker at one of our sessions recently. She sent us this little segment she did at the Charlotte Today show. I thought this was reassuring that my kids will be OK (hopefully!)...

Nikki: Mom, could we pleeeese watch this movie for another 10 minutes??
Mom: OK, guys, I will give you another 10 minutes, but after that we go straight to bed. No books then. Don’t forget - 10 minutes…
Nikki: No, eleven!
Audrey: No, twelve!
And this is how half our conversations go. Constant negotiating…

Mom: Yes, Audrey. I can see your favorite words now are "ведьма" and "bad"
Nikki: You got it, mom! Guess which favorite words are mine?

A note from my Day Care Provider regarding Audrey: "... The other day Nikki upset her, and Audrey told her - "You are NOT coming to my house!"   (  :))
