Those of you who had to find out the news this way and are upset about the impersonal nature of it, I'm very sorry and you can yell at me. It's that end-of-the-semester craziness time.

This is the last Important Announcement... until I get a job. Then I'll write another one and let you know what job I got.

So I've figured out where I'm going to be living next year. I'll be in Main on the fourth floor. Somewhat humorously, that means that I will have lived in the northwestern-most dorm (Norris), the northeastern-most dorm (East), and the southern-most dorm (Main). So last time it was an ice storm. This time it's a blizzard. A blizzard that dumped more than a foot of snow on the western part of the state. The governor already declared all 99 counties of Iowa disaster areas. Most people around here haven't fully recovered from the ice storm this past weekend ( Read more... )
