hana kimi: final episode
i just finished watching the last episode (raw..) and i don't know how i feel about it. i've got loads of mixed emotions on it now..
i was really skeptical as to how they would end this. and now having seen it, i really don't know what to make of it. the episode in itself was super hilarious.
the photoshoot scene was very hot. all 3 boys looked super good, and ella was too adorable.
then there was the whole xui yi's confussion over who he liked thing. it was cute that he was confused about julia and rui xi. but, in the end, he ended with julia. this didn't happen in the manga, but them putting this in the drama was still pretty cool. i think they're adorable.. and i'm happy that xui yi gets a happy ending.
though i was kinda looking forward to maybe seeing jiro portraying a broken hearted nakatsu as in the manga..since he did that the whole "suffering from unrequited love" well in "it started with a kiss"
and okay.. the whole scene build up to rui xi confessing to quan that she liked him..was too hilarious. #1, their friends kept interupting them. it was too funny. and #2, when they finally snuck into the dj booth to have privacy.. of course the mic was on.. and of course they didn't know.. and of course all their friends were standing by speakers... waiting for the outcome of it all. haha, too adorable... and too funny.
now, for the actual ending itself... it's very ambiguous. there's not really anything definte established. since i lack understanding of chinese i don't exactly know what was being sad.. but from what i could i understand.. they know about her situation. but quan doesn't confess back. at least, i don't remember hearing him say she liked her back. and we don't really know that their together.
i was disappointed that we didn't really get to know whether they end up together in the end. i liked the manga's ending, since they were together.
but what i did like about this ending was the possibility that there might be a sequel. hana kimi 2? i think i'd be happy with that. i mean, there was a lot that they didn't get to cover in the manga. i going to hope that there will be a sequel.. cause i really want to them to be together in the end.
