i've finally finished tatta hitotsu no koi. i'd been putting it off for so long cause of school, but i finally had a chance to finish it.
it's such a beautiful love story. star crossed lovers indeed. nao and hiroto are just too adorable together. i can't help but love kame even more now. him playing jaded hiroto was awesome. nao kinda got on my nerves with her whiny voice.. but her cute innocence and upfront nature more than makes up for it. i love that she's the one woman that brings light into hiroto's world, and opens up her heart. so awesome. and might i add, i'd totally die for kame to come running after me while i'm on a bus. =D
and they're friends are just as awesome. ayuta is a wicked man. supporting nao and hiroto even though he himself liked nao. ahh, hanazawa rui much (except the whole trying to take her away thing)? yuko-chan was super cute. i love her little scheme to make hiroto come back to the factory. actually, i love all her little schemes to bring them closer together. but i have to say, i've really taken a strong liking to ko-kun. he's like the male versionf of nao; very innocent, whole hearted and too adorable. him and yuko as a pair was super kawaii, and i was bumbed that he didn't end up marrying her in the end. but they're still awesome friends.
other metionables: hiroto's little brother is too cute, and very intuitive. i think he may have taught his older brother about loving nao the most. hiroto's mom i had a problem with when she was acting bummy, but i'm glad to see that she changed her ways at the end. nao's mom rocks! and her dad and brother... ehh, don't really care for either of them. but her fiance is a darling. glad he didn't force that wedding on her. anyways, i'm very happy finally watching it all.
on another note, since i've now finished tatta no koi, and have finished hana kimi this weekend, i starting two on two dramas.
the first one's tian wai fei xian with ariel lin starring in it.
This drama is a retelling of a well-know love story between a goddess and a mortal.
The story started off with Goddess Xiao Qi (Ariel Lin) committing a major transgression. As a punishment, she was stripped of all her powers and banished to the mortal realm. She could only regain her goddess status by accomplishing 100 charitable acts.
Alone and helpless, she was rescued by a kind-hearted and earnest mortal named Dong Yong (Hu Ge). He taught her what’s like to be a mortal. And through him, she learned to love and be loved in return.
But, gods are forbidden to love mortals. And, when their love affair was discovered, heaven guards descended onto the mortal realm to separate the two lovers. In the ensuing struggle, Dong Yong was severely injured and left to die. Pitying their fate, Xiao Qi’s sisters sent forth Xiang Xue Hai (Han Xue) to save Dong Yong’s life.
2 reasons why i wanted to start this: #1 ariel lin's starring in it, and i adore her. and #2 i've recently become a big fan of TANK (sang the ending credits song for hana kimi: my only angel) and he does a song for the drama called Qian Nian Lei. i've uploaded in onto my imeem. for those who don't know the song and want to listen, click
here. but i think most of this drama's not subbed. =S so i think i'm going to end up watching the beginnings of it with subs, and finishing it w/out.
anyways, the second drama will be corner with love.
Barbie's character (Xin Lei) grew up in Shanghai. She is known as "princess" to her parents who have spoiled her very much. She understands 8 different languages and plays the piano well. But her talents mean nothing when faced with the challenge known as "love".
The opposite however, is Alan Luo's character (Qin Lang). He grew up in Taiwan with a strong interest in art. His grandmother who raised him since young may look down upon the interest, but tells him that art can penetrate much.
When the two very different people meet, what is it that is waiting for them around the corner? Is it unexplainable or is it just love?
i had planned on starting this drama since hana kimi finished. was never really a fan of barbie until i saw her in mars. her performance there was brilliant (her mg acting was lame). so i'm hoping these'll be good.
anyways, i think that's enough outta me for one night. i need to like lie down now and rest my eyes from looking at my laptop monitor.
