I GOT MY VALENTINE'S DAY GIFT, YES!!!

:)

It makes me insanely happy. Thursday morning, almost immediately after Dominic gave it to me, I dropped it. *facepalm* my clumsiness will never go away. Roar.

ANYWAYS. :D IT WAS AN AMAZING GIFT. NOT EVEN EXAGGERATING, I LOVE IT SO MUCH. I was going to jump/scream/squeal/punch/ninja-kick/scream/fangirl/OMGx1503943, but 1) My fangirling is annoying and 2) I think the only emotion I had at the time was speechlessness.

I should actually say what the gift was, right? xD

MY GIFT:

(In my last entry, but I wanted to post it again. xD)

It was in this awesome box--

And inside--

--I opened it to find: Hershey's (There is significance behind this candy, I will tell later. xD), a Barnes and Noble Gift Card (OHMYGOSH. SO. FREAKING. HAPPY.), a CD (again, will explain) and.... A SEVEN PAGE LETTER. :O

SEVEN. PAGES. Dominic, that amazed me.

It's not exactly a letter--IT'S BETTER. He made me a mix CD with songs and in the seven pages he wrote about how each of those songs relate to me and us. And the song selections? PERFECT. SO FREAKING AWESOME.

Also--the candy. I told him a story a few months ago, about how when my mom used to work at this one particular hotel (which also happens to be where prom is this year, whoa.), she would always bring me my favorite, Hershey's Cookies & Cream, and I talked about how I never saw it around anymore and now... I HAVE 4 CANDY BARS TO EAT, YES. :)

Did I mention how much I love this gift? I really appreciate it, Dominic. :) So much that I need like 50 LJ entries to express how much I loved this gift. Thanks so much. ♥

Anyways. I need a nap. I started volunteering early, left late, then did errands, so I'M WIPED OUT. Some Valentine's Day. xD Haha. No, it was fun. There were SO MANY flower deliveries, that an employee actually asked me, "Ooh, who sent you all the flowers?". xD OH! And the owner of the Celebrity Cafe at the hospital? He bought me a fruit salad and said, "I bought you some lunch!". HE ROCKS, and it was the sweetest thing to do.

But today, the most amazing thing I saw at the hospital was seeing a mom go home with her newborn baby. It was just... wow. I can't even explain it. I started crying a little because just the sight of the mother and baby, the way she looked at him, and when she started talking about how she can't wait till he grows up, for her to see him grow up... The affection in her eyes were so timeless, so genuine. Love is an amazing thing. :)

Happy Valentine's Day, everyone!!! ♥

(This is my ideal Valentine's Day song.)
