It’s just another day
Another day without you.
This ends, so I’m thinking
What I’m gonna do.
I’ll get over you,
If this is how it ended
So be it.
If this, is how,
You felt all along,
It just ain’t worth it,
To carry on, pretending.
So go away and proceed,
I really don’t care,
I’ve got all I need,
My friends, giving you a glare.
Love is a game and I’m a contender.
Now I’m calling it quits:
Count me out, not going to be a pretender.
Because hearts are just
Strings
In Cupid’s show,
Goodnight, ladies and gents,
Im just not gonna be starring anymore.
And I’m alright,
I know I will
Get through the night,
Time will stop still
As I spill
My heart out,
There’s no doubt
Scream and shout:
“I’m okay”.
My heart has no scar,
I’m all good:
It’s me and this guitar.
