Sleeping well children are in the house...
So today I left the house without my 2 children and my husband because they were napping. Well my first stop was my moms house and she asked were my kids were. I told her and she was all "You left them there with your Husband sleeping???" She was freaked out because of all the stories you here about children leaving the house or getting hurt badly well the parent was asleep.
Well my children are 3 and 1.. So i went back home and baby gated the toddlers door and baby was in the crib.
My question to you is..
What do you feel about parents sleeping well there are little ones at home? Even if there napping or playing in there crib do you think its safe? Unsafe?
And if a parent is going to nap well the children are napping what precautions should the parent take?
*Edit* Ok i mean more so when your napping when the toddler is. When you sleep at night the child normally sleeps through the night. But during a nap you don't know when the child is going to wake up.
And as far as what do I do at night is I put a baby gate up on his door and I have top chain locks that he can't unlock or reach so if he did get up he would not be wondering off outside.
