Last night before going to bed, I finished watching a documentary about Annie Liebowitz, the American photographer who earned her fame as chief photographer for Rolling Stone magazine. Two songs that I am really loving right now:

"King Without a Crown" - Matisyahu. It's so ... messianic. Joyful. Hopeful. The first time I heard this reggae song was after the wedding as Gerry and I drove north to Napa Valley. The artist is an Orthodox Jew, apparently, and he wears his full orthodox garb in concert or in videos. Wild!

When I came home from work yesterday, I noticed that somebody had draped our welcome mat over a small box. Even stranger was that the box was addressed to me from A.C.C. -- what in the world is that? Last night, I ushered for the performance of Mac-what's-his-name (there's a bit of video here) at the Shakespeare theater. It's not a favorite play by any means, but this production of it was staged memorably.
