Oh Happy Day! Beware of the unf

Jun 19, 2010 13:09

I just looked at this post: community.livejournal.com/haeaday/199165.html in haeaday and I think the unf broke my brain. :Q_____ I know that I say this often, but HOLY SHIT DONGHAE! I don't think the expression "sex on legs" was ever more appropriate than for dear fishy here. This is gonna cause fangirl mass pregnancies and/or death by hormone overdrive again. South Korea wants to break North Korean stupidity by promoting kpop? Use Donghae, folks, because Kim Jong Il never hath seen the rabidness of a mob of delirious fangirls, and even he will break under that insane amount of pressure. No one comes in between that piece of mindblowing hotness and a brainmelted fan.

HOLY SHIT DONGHAE indeed.

More happy news:

Looks like there's a silver lining on the horizon of technology problems. I'm probably gonna invest in a cooling plate for my laptop (probably, we're still going to get professional advice before) so that the hell of instant shut downs is hopefully gonna be over. Hallelujah!

Then, Music Bank...

As I said yesterday, I looked at MBLAQ's and C.N. Blue's performances and while MBLAQ's was nice, I still think that somehow, their voices are too unstable for live performances. I know it's incredibly hard to dance and sing properly at the same time, but even during the still moments they had their problems of hitting the right notes which is not good for an idol band. I absolutely love the song and I really don't want to bash them, but their live performances are a bit disappointing on the singing part.

C.N. Blue was much, much better than on Mnet. :D Yonghwa's hair and too-tight pants were a bit of a wtf-moment in the perf, but otherwise, they did a great job. Jonghyun's singing was also much better, almost no problems with hitting his notes and all of them were extremely adorable because they all smiled so happily at the camera, very professional! What I also definitely approve of is that the camera didn't focus almost exclusively on Yonghwa, as is usually the case in the other performances, but also tried to give Minhyuk and Jungshin proper screen time, even though they only do a bit of background singing. I really like that, because both of them are very much concerned with giving a good performance even when the camera never captures them, so they really deserve to be shown more often. Especially with all the effort that probably goes into Minhyuk's happy-go-lucky appearance, that can't be easy to uphold all the time.

I wondered, though, how Yonghwa was able to properly grip the guitar chords with the double finger ring he was wearing. ^^
Ah, such a happy kpop day so far, and the MuCo perfs to look at now. Both SuJu and Infinte are back, baby! :D
