I love Central Park. If you ever go w kids, take them to the stone slide.

Glad you had fun!

Thanks! I'll keep that in mind, but the odds of that happening are small. ;)

Central Park is wonderful! On a lovely day, like the one it looks like you had, you can spend the whole day there. Beautiful pictures!

It was cool and windy, but sunny. The guy with the kite never got it off the ground, as far as we saw. It might have been too windy.

Thanks for the recap! I agree Central Park is amazing. And haha, the horns. That was something I had to get used to when I moved to Virginia -- no one honks AT ALL, like except in the direst of emergencies. I once lightly tapped my horn when sitting behind someone who hadn't noticed that the light had turned green, and the stares I got for it, my LORD. ;) But I'm used to it now.

So you used to live in NYC? It's like a constant conversation with the horns there. After awhile, I imagine you don't notice it at all.

Yup, for five years. And yes, the sound just becomes a constant backdrop -- when I'd go elsewhere, I'd always notice how quiet it was, but I never noticed how loud it was in the city anymore. That's actually one of my strongest memories from the days right after 9/11, because I was living in part of the city that was shut down to all traffic, and it was eerily quiet all the time. No subway rumbling underfoot, no cars, nothing. It was like a different world.

There's a constant background noise here, in this small town. I live on one of the busier streets, and I can hear traffic in the distance all the time. I hear sirens everyday.

At my boyfriend's house, you can hear bullfrogs at night. ;)

Nice pictures. My sister and I saw Central Park very briefly on Friday when we were walking around, but not much of it.

Glad you guys got to enjoy some sights on Sunday.

And haha, the dog walking itself is too cute and funny.

Central Park is beautiful.

Everyone was pointing and smiling at the dog.

Ah! A photo of Ron!
(You were supposed to get a stranger to take one of BOTH of you. Shakes head, smiles.)

I love NYC. Glad you had a day to yourselves without an agenda. Central Park is FTW! :)
I want to go back...

I know, I know! Troy is asking for one, too. ;)

Ron and his son stopped over tonight, but I'm wearing ratty clothes because I have to cut the grass. ;P

I'd like to go back, too!
