karaoke-ing
a karaoke place opened up right next to my parents' office so my dad took us tonight with a lot of his friends. they had all of 4 japanese songs and no english songs past maybe... 2002? it was kind of disappointing. but, on the bright side, there was bubble tea and it was really good bubble tea and i might just go there for that purpose from now on.
anyway, my dad now thinks my chinese is amazing (and all of his friends, too) because I sang 遇見 and 老鼠愛大米 and pretty much everything F4 or Zhou Yu Min ever made. it was kind of funny how impressed they all were, when really, if you look at the lyrics... these songs are not at all difficult.
my chinese has gotten six million times better than, even say two years ago, though. I remember the time Christine and I struggled with our fanmail to Jerry and ended up writing some of it in english because Vanness could translate it. and how we had to ask the Chinese transfer student type guy how to write simply things like 孩子... XD
I am now adding new memory to my computer. God I hope I can get it to turn back on. *crosses fingers*
