I just finished reading The Almost Moon by Alice Sebold. In my opinion, she is one of the best writers I have read. Not necessarily because her stories, but because of the way that she writes - structure, logic. It's as if you really are that character and are thinking those thoughts. Not because they are vivid, but because it makes sense.

I've come to this conclusion that no matter what I do to try and get away from camera assisting, I can't. It is something that I am good at and I should just embrace it. I am not made for G&E. This past Wednesday, we did a camera test for Kate's film. We shot Fuji 400T and did 3 different tests: normal processing, pushing 1 stop, and pushing 2 stops. We tested the moonlight lighting with a pale blue filter (made by Lee Filters) and also did some tests for overexposing to get a thicker negative. I just officially finished watching LOST. I want to write my thoughts, but I can't because I'm still soaking it all in.

Today was an amazing day. This is one of those days that I just wish I could live on repeat for the sheer bliss of spending it with people I love.

I'm sitting here in my theology class attempting to stay awake. I'm doing terrible in school... this movie is taking over my life. I missed one of my classes last night and was late to my thesis class. Not to mention all of the classes I've missed of my theology and history classes. Sigh. I think I've really been taking steps forward in putting things behind me. It's been a lot healthier - I can smile and laugh a lot easier. I'm more like myself.

I still have so much work left to do on my film. I'm slowly chugging away at it. This is a gigantic project. I believe in myself, though.
