This morning

"I wish everyone who carries a bag would do that "what's in your bag meme". It's my favorite."
Depending on the day of the week, I have a different bag.
My school bag:
I purchased this at the beginning of the semester, because I hated my old pink backpack from high school, and felt it was time for something a little more... adult? It's a really neat mustard color, and it's big and holds everything and I love it, even if it weighs eight thousand pounds someday.
This is the contents of it today:
- scarf (that I took off at lunch because it was too warm)
- pencil case (which houses pens, chapstick, tampons and my ipod, in variations on any given day)
- wallet
- notebooks, humanities text, and microbiology lab manual
- Neil Gaiman's The Graveyard Book (which is fantastic, by the way)
- ipod and headphones
- keys
- bonus stickyman wall climber thing that I found in my blazer pocket
So take away the notebooks and stuff and you have the contents of my regular purse, which looks like this:
I've been wearing this bag for almost two years, because it holds everything and the fabric print is gorgeous.
And then there's the knitting bag, which I sometimes throw my wallet in and use as a purse.
The bag itself is a Vera Bradley tote I use to use as a bookbag, but has since been repurposed. The project in the top right is going to be a slouchy beanie in rice stitch, and the black project is a hat for my dad, since the dog chewed a hole in the one I made him last year >:|
Tools:
- scissors
- crochet hooks
- Double Pointed Needles
- Needlemaster interchangeable circular needle set
So yeah, that's the crap I haul around with me on a daily basis. Now off to go write for kittens
