Grr I missed my food network shows!
I absolutely hate my genetics professor. He is a complete idiot. It's a shame really because I love, love, LOVE genetics. Nobody comes to his class because he's an awful teacher and so today he got pissed off and announced that on Monday we would be having a quiz. You would think that to fail the people who weren't there he would make the quiz over what we learned in class today. But wait... that would mean we would have had to LEARN material today... which we did not. He blabbered on about the same things he talks about every class period: stupid crap that he thinks is interesting. For instance:
Did you know that there is such a thing as DNA perfume? You betcha!!! Does it have anything to do with DNA or genetics? No. Not a damn thing. Except that it is in a bottle that looks like a double helix. OOOOHHHhH!!! Awesome huh!? No.
Why? Because he says it every class! He went on for 30 minutes today talking about the most useless information. I meanwhile drew a nice little picture of me pushing him off of a plank into shark infested waters.
I am waiting for Adam to show up, he is staying with us tonight and tomorrow. I am excited, we haven't seen Adam in a long while. Also, company gives me an excuse to clean which I normally wouldn't have done until tomorrow. And we are going to ihop for pancakes and coffee tonight, yum.
My grandmother ordered my wedding dress and I really am excited. I didn't think I would be happy about it because the whole process was such a nuisance. Sweet Jada helped me through most of it but I really hate trying things on and I hate shopping when I am looking for something to buy. My grandmother is really excited about it too, she just "can't wait until it comes in".
I recently discovered that "Feist" was with Broken Social Scene AND Massive Attack... I have since become obsessed. Thank God (or Eric rather) for my ipod without which I could never get enough.
