Bloody Diaries Convention - Day 2 (08.06.2013) (Part 2)
So... after a shower I feel better, so let's get back to business... XD
Where was I? Right, the autograph session... :-)
I was finished with my autographs around 2:30 ant he session would last until 4 p.m. at least and the next panel wouldn't start before 5 p.m., so Marie and me decided to take a little walk, because we weren't interested in the lectures and workshops and such and so we went outside, and let me tell you: IT WAS HOT! So damn hot!
Like SUMMER Hot. When I left home on Friday I needed to wear a jacket and once I arrived in Germany the sun was shining and the wheather was just seriously nice... which was great, but you couldn't bear to stand in the sun for too long.
We sat down outside in the shadows and talked quite a bit and moth were swooning over Trent and about the way how cute he was and then we pretty spontaneously decided we wanted a picture with him. A picture together. Marie and me and him. We thought it would be a nice memory for both of us, and Trent was the "right guy" to do so, because like I said: we both found him so adorable in his panel, and so we decided "let's just do it"...
I finally was able to collect my pictures with David and Torrey before the next panel started, and then we went upstairs into the first Panel of Mark Pellegrino which startet at 5.
What I can tell you about Mark is: He's a HUGGER... like REALLY... he literally hugged everyone who asked him a question and he always was like "Are you nervous?" and he even took a few people to the stage and such, and everyone who told him he was nervous got a hug from him. This guy is just seriously SO adorable. How can someone NOT love him? :D
We couldn't stay long, though, because Trent's photoshooting was at 5.30 and we could line up at 5.15 already, so after a short while "with" Mark, we went outside to line up for Trent's fotoshooting.
There were already a few people lined up, and we got numbers 80 and 81 (seems like I *always* get numbers around 80 *lol*). We had to buy 2 photo tickets, but we were told, we would get 2 different pictures, too. We just have to tell the staff at the end of the line that we want to be on the picture together...
Marie and me had already decided WHAT we wanted... a picture like I had with Sebastian and Richard and so when it was our turn Marie was like "You tell him, my english isn't good enough", so we went to him and he wanted to hug us both, opened his arms and I said "we want something different" and he was like "okay?" and then I said "Imagine we both want you, but you decide for her" and I pointed to Marie. And he was like "Oh, huh? What?" and he looked kinda confused and was like "What do I have to do?" and I said "Just hug her and ignore me" *lol* He laughed and said "I can do that"... and he did *lol*
And then I said "And now hug me and ignore her"... and he was simply adorable... I love those 2 pictures SO much, especially becaues Trent was so close to me... I felt his cheek on mine and yeah... it was quite nice! <3 <3 <3 Trent is such a sweet, adorable guy :-)
The first picture looks like that because I just photographed it from Marie's photo. She has the Original and yeah, she did the same with mine XD
After the Trent picture Marie went back inside the Panel room to watch the end of Mark's panel and Jim's 2nd panel, but I had to line up for Mark Pellegrino's photo already, so I just waited outside until people were allowed to line up again, and just like with Jim I wasn't really nervous before my picture with Mark, BUT... and that's a BIG but: I had NO fucking idea what to do with him. I didn't have a special pose in mind and whatsoever... so I just got into the waiting line, meeting a friend from Facebook by "accident"... I mean, I knew she was there, but I hadn't seen her until then, so that was a nice surprise. And I had someone to talk to. She told me she actually didn't mean to take a picture with Mark, but that he completely blew her away in his panel and so she just HAD TO come... which is so cute... :-)
Anyways... while lining up I was thinking what to do some more and when there were only 2 people in front of me, I made a decision. Kind of... *lol* (This time I was number 37 btw. XD)
When I stood in front of him, I looked at him and said "can you hug me and maybe kiss my cheek?" and he was of course nice and said yes, and I seriously can't believe how absolutely beautiful this picture turned out to be! I didn't expect that, but it's one of the best pictures I took during the convention and when I went down to collect it, I literally squealed. I love it. It's just adorable in my eyes! :)
I love it SO much... I love that his eyes are closed and how he's holding me... By the way: I wore black wings earrings that day. Just for him and before we took the pictures I told him "I wear those earrings just for you" and he looked at them and said "They are beautiful, that's so sweet"... :)
Anyways...after the photo shooting the passage to "just" go back to the panel room was "closed" so we had to go around the whole hotel building, but that was a good thing, because when Lydia (my friend from Facebook) and me went out we ran directely into Gil Ofarim... he was standing outside talking with some fans and taking picture so we asked him for one too! I mean, I didn't know if I get the chance again, and I quite love the picture :)
As a teenager I loved this guy SO much *lol* And I mean, I kind of still do... he's awesome, and he loks even better now than he did back then :-P
When I came back into the room, Jim's Panel was still going on, but when I reached "my" row, all seats were full -.- ANNOYING... like REALLY... I had to get someone from the staff and they had to ask everyone for their badge and OF COURSE someone was sitting in the wrong row, but she said she sat there becaues her own was full -.-
THERE ARE ROWS ON YOUR BADGE FOR A REASON, GUYS!!!
And what also was quite annoying was that my jacked was on the chair I was sitting before and they just threw it on the floor -.- I mean, HELLO?
I get that people were nervous, because right after JIm's Panel the "Double Panel" of Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesely would take place, but SERIOUSLY? How brazen is that? -.- I was always sitting on the side and now I had to sit somewhere in the middle -.- But at least I was able to sit down then... and watch the rest of Jim's panel... didn't get much of it anymore...
Jim was really great, though, he asked one woman to come to him and tried to calm her down because she was so nervous... so adorable! =)
After Jim had left the stage Mark Ferguson announced Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesely. It was awfully loud - of course - and people were lining up like crazy to stand on the microphone and ask questions. It was already clear that not everyone would be able to ask his question, because there were just too many people, but anyways... :-)
I have to say: Paul and Ian were REALLY really funny. I never thought I would laugh so much during their panel. One fan asked for example if Ian learned German - like he had promised last year at the Con - and he apologized, saying that he just was way too busy to do so, but that he's gonna come to Paul's room "tonight" to learn German. And that they would have candles there, and will eat something with candlelight and then they will learn German. I mean, SERIOUSLY! WTH? :P What ideas do those guys plant in my head? XD
In the middle of the panel there was a girl - a crazy one - asking Ian if he can make a handstand and move around the stage on his hands, and Ian said he couldn't. Then she said, he should sing something for her, and he said he wouldn't do it. Next thing she "requested" was for him to dance... I mean WTF?
I was quite annoyed by that, because he said "Listen, I'm here to answer some questions and not make a fool of myself, I'm not a circus animal"... I read a couple of times that people thought he had been pretty bitchy in that moment, but to my personal opinion: HE WAS COMPLETELY RIGHT! I mean, seriously, what the hell are some people thinking?
Ian and Paul were always mocking each other, saying how much they hate each other, but then there were some reaaaaaally cute moments...
One girl asked them what they like most about each other, and Paul said something like, that he's usually pretty pessimistic, and that he's almost "unbearable" when he isn't in a good mood, and one day they had to film pretty early and it was cold and he was tired and he was cold and Ian came along and made everything better. He literally told us that working with Ian just makes him so much better because Ian is such a positive guy. But he also said that SOMETIMES this could be really annoying but most of the time Ian's good mood lifts up his own, because on that day Ian was like "We have a good job and we're going to film some great scenes" and making everything sound a lot better than it actually was...
Seriously, those 2 really like each other and deeply care for each other. Everyone who says something else has NO clue about them at all...
Ian said that he loves most about Paul that he's such a good friend and such... was quite nice, too... :)
One girl asked Paul then if he is aware of shipping in the fandom and of the fact that people ship Stefan with Silas... and at that point I had to kind of "disengaged" myself XD I have no idea who they were talking about since I'm not that far along but Ian was seriously amused saying how "hot" it would be if they undress each other and start touching each other and such... XD
It was sooooooo sweet and I enjoyed the panel a lot... :) Those guys are fun, and I wasn't aware how MUCH fun they would be :)
Ian even invited one girl to his room and told her that they should get married *lol* I don't even remember what she asked him, I think it was his favourite book or such, and they had a conversation and she was telling Ian "I love you" and Ian was like "I love you too, we should get married" and she was like "YES!" *lol*
Quite funny that guy XD He also said he can only take her to his room after his date with Paul XD He needs to learn German first XD
I enjoyed that Panel more than I thought I would XD
Then the "Convention stuff" was over for that night, but there would be the concert of Gil Ofarim about 1 hour later, and so my friend and mine drank something and went to her car and outside for a while and went back in around 9:15... there was already a huge crowd in front of the doors. Mostly becaues people could attend the concert even if they weren't con attendees. It was free for Con people, and others could purchase a ticket for 15,- Euros, and a lot of Gil fans did that...
My friend Marie wasn't interested in Gil at all, so she told me she would wait outside until it's over... and when the doors opened I went in...
The Concert started around 9:45 p.m. and yeah, it was great... but I didn't stay the whole concert... I left about 45 minutes after the concert, because the day had been extremely exhausting and I was tired and I couldn't stand any longer...
I mean, I know I missed a lot, because after the concert Gil was party-ing with the fans, writing autographs, taking pictures and such, but I was just seriously awfully exhausted frm that day, so I went outside and Marie and me drove home.
After Marie and me arrived at her apartment I took a shower, we ate some "midnight snack" - kind of - and talked a bit and such and around 1:30 we finally went to sleep... which was way too late, because like the day before - OF COURSE - Marie's birds woke me at 6:07 again XD
Something other that happened that day: I met someone I wasn't aware would be there too XD kerrsmith2306! I met him when I was lining up for David's photo shooting. he was passing me by saying "Hello!" and I was like "Huh?" but he walked past me, so I just stood there, like 3 meters away, looking at him from time to time. I wasn't really sure if it was him, but I thought, the worst thing that could happen would be: it isn't him. So I walked towards him asking "are you Martin?" and he said "yes, I wasn't sure if it was REALLY you", sweet...
that was unexpected, but soooo great... I mean, I love to meet new people and Martin has been on my f-list for quite a while, so that was a nice surprise to see him there. He only had a 1 day ticket and he was there to take a picture with David. We chatted quite a bit during waiting for David, but unfortunately, I didn't see him again afterwards since I had other things to do and he couldn't attend the panels with the 1 day ticket...
Something else that just came back to my mind was something from Torrey's panel. I wanna share it anyways. Someone asked Torrey how she deal with the fact that millions of girls love Paul, and she said something like "at the end of the day he's coming home to me" or such, but that she totally understands that. And that she's completely willing to share him. She said something like "If someone wants him, I say, sure, just give him back in 24 hours" ... she was so funny. She was also asked how it is for her to watch his love scenes, if that doesn't hurt, but she said, it's not even a little bit romantic, and that she knows it's "just" a job and nothing else, and that there kisses and such are really technical. She also said that sometimes she tells Paul what girls like and what he could make better!
The woman rocks! :-)
That's all for Day 2, and now I'm tired... I think I've written this report for the whole day now, so I'm gonna take a break and will write Day 3 tomorrow! I hope you don't mind :-)
