So, I decided to bow out of the intoabar fic challenge (DV tells me that they've extended the deadline but I still don't have any story ideas). It turns out that if you give the mods advanced notice of your inability to complete the challenge, you won't be banished from the community. So, the NSA PRISM program leak is causing quite a stir, no? I'm sorta surprised at the level of pearl-clutching going on - I just assumed the the U.S. government was abusing the already generous personal liberty infringements of the Patriot Act and doing something like this.
