On Having Successful Search Phrases-- sort of

Today's Search Phrase: "popular swedish musicians"
What I found useful: Wikipedia's Page (normally I hate Wiki!) After clicking on a few of the names listed, I am further convinced that I find exactly what I need, when I more or less need it. Well, or a MacGyver-esque/Redneck edition of exactly what I need. *chortle* Harrumf.

How the Samuelson Hill do I find these things??
Oh, my stomach hurts from laughing so hard... In my brief search for random new music this morning via my crappy Search methods & YouBoob, I would have to say that I scored with Günther's "Ding Dong Song " & "Pussycat." Oh, Lawd. I howled!  I had heard the Ding Dong Song, but I'd forgotten about it...

I also found a very enjoyable Swedish reggae/rap-ish band called Svenska Akademien via YouBoob. Thanks for the clip, wiedels. I swear that I've heard this before...  but the first song I clicked on was "Vetande," and that was enough to make me happy (er) for the morning, and to listen to more.

Yes, most lively to shek-a shek-a to, at this hour (and Weasel followed me around the house as I danced, jumping about & trying to join in).

Hmmm. That brings to mind... someone had made a (moderated) comment that I like a lot of "out-of-date music." Errr, what? I wondered briefly if they listened to classical music at all... What does it matter, besides the sometimes unfortunate occurrence of not being able to obtain the music directly, or not being able to see a performance? Some music is simply priceless because the artists are now long gone. Some of the 80's & 90's stuff was made to be a memorable flash in the pan. I'm not a huge fan of a whole lot of the 60's & 70's music, as far as I'm aware. Of course I'd rather die than not listen to anything that's been preserved from the early 1900's-50's... Come ON, people!
All I have to say is: Well Miss Lady, life is too damned short to wonder about whether I'm listening to the right music or not. Open up your ears, some. So, politely: put that it your pipe & smoke it.

I'm off to get ready for a wee excursion to the MIA, to meet mum... Oh, please cross your fingers for me... I be nervous.

Cheers & All
