Having your work stuff open and actually working on it at the moment your boss comes over = priceless. Being able to tell your boss "Hey, so this thought you had, I proved it wrong" and having him say "That's what I was looking for" = more priceless. My Tuesday is somewhat going better than my Monday did. The migraine appears to be mostly gone; I have a killer headache right now, but I'm pretty sure that's from other stuff and is not actually a migraine. I had a migraine that wrecked most of Saturday, and made Sunday difficult. I at least have happy cough syrup now--with codeine, so it won't do much for me to make me stoned but with luck it'll keep me from coughing all night and all day tomorrow. I'm working a 12 today, and tomorrow afternoon, so that sucks BUT it's my last weekend of having to do this. Possibly ever. I mean, I may end up working 12 hours on a weekend once I settle into the new job but I can do it from home, in my pajamas if I feel like it. It's been a really crappy week for migraines. As you remember I ended up in the ER Monday night, and Tuesday was better but by the time I got back from the concert I felt pretty awful.
