goblet of fire, offworld
Goblet of Fire is the best Harry Potter movie out by far. They were still missing a hell of alot, but despite the many things missing, I'm more than satisfied with the movie, I hope they keep the same director, I can't emphasize just how well done it was. The only real criticism I can say is to explain the fact that both Voldemort & Harry possessed the same wand. I already knew such a thing, but it would really tie others to what happened in the duel (not just the stereotypical hero prevailing through necessarily).
The movie had sexual tension, oh so much sexual tension, from Hermione talking about Viktor Krum as a physical being to Moaning Myrtle's advances on Harry in the bath, I'm surprised that that wasn't one of the reasons the movie was listed as PG-13 (for sequences of fantasy violence and frightening images). So much teenage angst, but that's to be expected (I really dread when I have to see the end of Order of the Phoenix on the movie screen for this reason in all truth).
Snape is awesome.
Sirius was barely there.
Harry possesses all my skills with the ladies, a lack thereof.
Hermione is still hot, and such a bitch I can fall for her any second.
That's about all my impressions of the movie.
I went to OffWorld, a gaming center in Lauderhill with Jeffy, Ryan, Chris & Brandon. The place is really cool, I really wish I didn't live so far so I can go far more often, it's definitely a catalyst for me actually putting forth the effort to get a license soon. I also am starting to love Guitar Hero, which I have been introduced to at the place, I really suck now, but the game is really fun. I started playing some DDR and In The Groove by playing some 6 to 7 step songs. I really need to get back to playing DDR, it'll give me reason to get back into shape and actually do far heavier songs like I used to do before.
I'll see if I can make it to the November 25th lock-in, I'm definitely going to ask my parents if I can do so, the people are friendly and the atmosphere is cool. Hell, they have a Beatles couch, I'm sold.
