the other week i was listening to a show on the radio about punk and ska and its context, including some bits about the Anti-Nazi League, and Rock Against Racism. i think the trade unions of the 60s and 70s and the punk youth-culture thing were really important in making the social culture we live in now. i'm going to try and read up more on it. train journeys are great...
you can't buy happiness. but you can't knock being financially comfortable. being able to buy a £90 train ticket for a weekend away without much thought (well ok, thinking "'kin 'ell, don't they come any cheaper?").

On about 3hours sleep and verr tired. But the train is lively and i'm by the aisle and can't sleep. So i turn to numbly musing.
I recall two contrasting memories of 'moving image'. In neither cases was film involved.
