So according to this CNN Money article, European megalopoly Unilever swallowed up American icecream brand Ben & Jerry's a few years back, and states that a handful of giant companies -- including Unilever and arch-rival Nestlé, also European -- dominate the $20 billion ice cream industry in the US.
