ICE CREAM!
So according to this CNN Money article, European megalopoly Unilever swallowed up American icecream brand Ben & Jerry's a few years back, and states that a handful of giant companies -- including Unilever and arch-rival Nestlé, also European -- dominate the $20 billion ice cream industry in the US. I did not know that. Also interesting:

Yes, it's horrible. At the same time I haven't really had any this summer. Looking at this long list, maybe it's time to change that. Many of these are not available here at all but there still is more than enough to choose from. *Drools with desire*
