Despite the size of it organizing the stash went much faster than the yarn did. I pulled out the bags that the fiber lived in and got started. I went to the Container store and got two sweater boxes. I figured I used the under the bed boxes for yarn, why not sweater boxes for fiber.
Pouring out my tote bags I got a good visual look at my fiber. I had a lot of Loop batts. Not that I’m really surprised. The Tour de Fleece is coming and I want to see if I can take part in
Stash Dash, and 2014 is supposed to be year of the handspun. All good reasons to get my Fiber in order.
I pretty much had blues, reds, and a dash of greens in my fiber stash. I’m sure everyone is shocked and surprised.
There was plenty of room in both boxes, and I topped them with some cedar I grabbed from
Etsy and it arrived quickly. There’s enough room that I may add my hand cards and blending brush to the pile. But my spring organization plot continues well, next shall be the beads and the craft room.
