his is TEAL DEER like woah, apologies, but I am pretty easy to please; anything that doesn't hit my squicks and has a happy/not-actively-sad ending will be amazeballs, and I'd much rather read something you've enjoyed writing than you trying to fit into my likes beyond our matched tropes.
Tropes:
Epistolary fic! Give me feelings over email, text, logs. Love it. I'm even okay with 'we keep missing each other and I don't want to wake you up so I left you a note', it doesn't have to be an LDR.
Science/Competence: I adore competence and everyone sciencing the shit out of everything. Gimme all of that. I love Poe being carefree but he's good at his job, Finn's shock at how quickly he pick things up on the fly, anything like that.
Military training/sex instruction: I think this is partly linked to the competence kink above. Hands on training and that kind of forced proximity.
Soulbond: I love all the ways. I really like this in forms where it physically affects them in not always great ways - so telepathy which is awkward or being physically far apart causing issues, or empathy. I also like soulbonds that don't start off as a love story but grow into one. But honestly, any sort of bonding I am happy with.
Under-negotiated kink: I just love people figuring out kinky stuff as they go along and hoping for the best. Sometimes it goes wrong and they need to start again, or actually use their words, but I like kink discovered by accident (I am open to most forms of kink tbh, examples given below)
General likes:
I love fics about falling in love, and not necessarily ones with lots of UST or silly people being silly puppies/obliviousness. Curtain!fic, and fic about earning to live with each other, is pretty wonderful. Connecting, man. It is legit. I enjoy love that is bittersweet as well though. Love that is comfortable (or prickly, maybe?) and known but there are bigger things - an apocalypse to avert, space to explore, the knowledge that they will probably cross that bridge eventually, but when they do they may well burn it to the ground.
I love found family.
I sometimes like pretentious things. I love hopeful fics, even if the journey is not necessarily easy.
I'm pretty happy with AUs as well, whether it be 'X is a vampire' or more canon divergence (different meetings, fork in the road, etc). Peri/post-apocalypse is always a good shout.
Kinks:
I am happy with any rating of fic, but if you do want to throw in some sex, I'm pretty open. People being into it is the dealbreaker. I want enthusiastic sex, and loving sex, and kinky sex, and awkward sex (where both people find it funny, rather than embarrassing). If you want specifics: Rimming/felching, blowjobs (I have an oral fixation, ok?), first times, fingerfucking.
