december = dianne is barely online when she's at home (go figure how i manage to still do multiple posts in one day)....
on wednesday we went to see the nutcracker... it was david, matt, tintin, and myself. i was scared by the godfather.... o______O
haha. j/k. but the ballet was pretty awesome. i missed part of the snowflake dance, though, cuz i absolutely had to go to the bathroom. XD;; but it was purdy.. purdy. i was quite impressed with the scene in the beginning of the second half, too.. the fish and the waves, haha. but i loved the snowflake dance... i also liked the one with the three guys... mm... and there was the peacock, which everyone loved. it took tintin a while to figure out what we were watching, though there were nutcracker picture takings.. and nutcracker figures around... she had to look at the ticket, lol. in the meanwhile, she was looking at the swan lake costumes (coming in february) and talking about how she missed doing ballet. :)
on thursday, mike arrived... after all the plane got deiced in minneapolis. @____@;; i also saw manong arvin for the first time in about 8 years. =p
on friday, my sister arrived.. and we went out to l&l, where i once again had a loco moco... can we say, "damn that was one big loco moco order?" XD;; two eggs and two salisbury steaks.. and oh so much gravy... later that night, mike and i met up with bruce, david, matt, and jen to do a gift exchange... matt made us all wassail, macaroons, and holly... out of all of them, i only knew macaroons... XD they were all really good, though. jen gave us stuff to feed our addictions... and david gave me the world. XD (he got me a globe... i always wanted one. XD) now chibi_ginn is going to have to work on getting me the sun, the moon, and the stars... j/k. ;p
yesterday was my sister's birthday. after some emergency wrapping session and a quick run around the mall, we met up with my family and my sister's friends at the keg. where we had foooooding.... fooooooooding. YUM. YUM, NEW YORK PEPPERCORN STEAK. we went back to the house, and my sister opened presents... i had vodka... why won't anybody drink with me? ;_____; and my cousin and i sang karaoke for about 3 hours... i just served to make him sound even better. not that he needs me do that for him, he has an awesome voice... like.. awesome voice. i just ruined songs.. haha. XD;; but my mom has a new cartridge on her magic mic, so i had fun with that. whooooo.
anyway.. more gift-wrapping today. i'd just like to wish people in advance...
