a job!!!
so, as of yesterday evening, i have a job, for the first time in my life! i'm working at a mexican resteraunt called acapulco annie's, and it is great, cause it pays well and there are free meals after every shift, and the staff are nice... it's hard work, but it's also good fun. and now i have an income so i can buy all sorts of stuff!
what happened was that yesterday mum was reading the paper, saw the position advertised, and the interviews were that day from 2-4 so we got in the car and i had my interview straight away. they trialed me that evening and decided i was good enough. quickest way to get a job ever! anyway, i've got my first paid job tonight and that will be fun fun fun! oh, and if i do really well for a while, they'll put me behind the bar and i can make cocktails. how cool is that?
