Lowlands afterparty/filmnight/birthday party (Praatgroep Avond)

Don’t you want to come with me?
Don’t you want to feel my bones?

Jasmijn left a few hours ago, after an impromptu photoshoot of sorts that she hadn’t actually asked for. LM and SvV left around five in the morning, after watching The Ring 2, being disgusted by Playboy One for a few minutes (soft-core, fake and they're all so ugly), and talking and watching MTV for two more hours.

All in all, I've heard it was a success. I was a little worried - old school friends and co-workers and the people I went to Lowlands with, and they'd never met anyone but each other, and we were supposed to watch films but as it turned out we spent a few hours in my room, until there were ten of us and it really didn't fit anymore, then we went downstairs and they all sat in my living room on the couches and the carpet, and we talked for hours. And hours. And as I was walking to the bus stop with the people who were taking the last bus, Daniël told me I had really hip friends. And it was repeated as people were leaving.

So basically all was good, except with SvV who had something pretty serious happen just before he came over, but I instantly arranged a place for him to spend the night, and with Marty whose relatives are illogical and infuriating, and made her cry. Me and Jas comforted her in the hallway for a while, and then she went back to the living room and explained it to the room and then my friends, my awesome lovely amazing friends all assured her that none of it's her fault, and God, I have more to tell, but people are angry at me here. I have lots of pictures and a bunch of videos.

From Maya's If You've A Ready Mind:

"He deserved to die," Aunt Bellatrix murmured. "He walked out the door and never thought about any of us again, his family, we've been dead to him for years."

People like the Weasleys were blood traitors and hardly minded the name because they were all in it together. They didn't understand that blood meant family, and that no matter what excuses Sirius Black might have thought he had, a traitor was a traitor.

"I'm glad to have met you properly, Draco," said Aunt Bellatrix, her face softening.

Up close she looked tired, and he could trace his mother's features in her face.
