This makes me so emotional. I can't believe they actually got Dafoe to play Seppala. I can't believe Disney actually made a film about such an important dog in Siberian Husky history. As much as I loved Balto as a kid, it was complete fiction. Togo was the real hero of the serum run. I'm so happy this film exists!

Saw it yesterday! The film is absolutely gorgeous visually. There's been criticism that the characters lack emotion in key scenes, and I think that's valid, but at the same time, I appreciated that the animals weren't overly anthropomorphized.
