carly came over last night whilst i was riding beejay & she talked me through some stuff. he was OCD about flies, which is obvious in the videos with the kicking out.
anyway. then we went next door & i rode him in Kelly's arena & he was perfect for about 10 minutes & then the behaviours started again, after i'd asked for a canter transition.
so. arena sour? pain memory associated with our arena? who knows. for our lesson today we're going to a little park down the road. this is quite a big deal as we've never done a lesson off the property before. yikes.
