my salsa night!!
i love mexico!! something about coming here always relaxes me and brings out the party girl in me. :) right now i'm at my cousin's house watching the holiday. it's a really great movie!
so i'm starting to panic about my recital. it's in a month and i cannot seem to memorize the mendelssohn and i'm terrified!! i also bombed my music history midterm after studying my butt off for it. i love that class, but i don't think that test justified our knowledge of the subject. it was a lot or random crap!! and what's worse, i could have done better if i hadn't studied with a study group. boo on life. even with an 8 point curve, i did horrible on this test. damn. so what do you do to relieve some stress? SKYBAR!!! salsa night on thursdays! i'm not the party girl, and i'm certainly not the club girl, but i absolutely had a blast thursday night!! i decided to do something out of the ordinary and to have fun, and i did. a bunch of us decided to go, and so i decided to go out on a limb and ask this really cute guy from my music history class to come with us. so thursday night rolled around and i thought he wasn't going to come, but at the last minute he called and said he was coming. yay! did i mention he is really cute? i don't have a great taste when it comes to guys...most really cute guys turn out to be jerks - not all of them, but mostly all. so this guy is gorgeous, and he looked good! haha and he is a fabulous salsa dancer! i think i'm in love. not really, but it was a blast. and i'm so glad i went. :) it totally made up for my crapy grade on my midterm. did i mention he's cute?
so i come home wednesday in time for the rodeo. i love rascal flatts!!! then a wedding on friday. more dancing!
