spring break part one
this is where i wanna be right now. that's right...MEXICO!!! i loved my half week in mexico!! i'm gonna sum up my events from last week...i really need to get this bibliography written, but i'd much rather shoot myself!
spring break day one: get up early in the morning to go to nuevo laredo, mexico! immediately do some shopping and major damage!!
Day two: sleep in!!! yay! some more shopping and dinner with the whole family at an awesome restaurant!
day three: head out to roma, texas. because of stupid traffic and daylight savings, we must head out at 6 am (which still felt like 5 am). mexico still doesn't change their time, so right now it's 10 pm, but it's only 9 there. must be nice. so we arrive in roma and we immediately cross the border to see my tias and cousins. (grandmother lives in roma and tios live in miguel aleman). come back early and me and my sisters go to mcallen to spend the night with my cousin pam, who is awesome!!!! and we stayed up all night playing DDR and "Disney's Scene It". it was actually a lot of fun! of course, i was the first to fall asleep so the girls put shaving cream ALL OVER MY FACE!!! i don't have pictures but as soon as i can get them from my cousin they are being posted!! did i mention we were drinking? haha maybe that would explain our behavior!
day four: more shopping and hanging out. we went to go see "wild hogs". it's actually pretty hilarious!!! came back to roma to spend the night. had lots of bbq and tostadas and pico de gallo and coke. oh yea, i broke my diet. apparently you can't get anything else other than coke in mexico. people look at you funny!
ok this is taking longer than i thought, so i will update later. must get back to annotated bibliography. i hate dr. pollack.
amanda, tell michael he is by far the best professor i've ever had...all of my friends agree. he knows his shit and knows how to present it well and organized. oh yea, his reviews and tests are fair!! not like pollack!!!! or durrani!!! i miss michael!!!!!
