The weather changed 3 times as I wrote this

Well, the energy I was riding before, played itself out before Christmas arrived, so I had to push through to finish everything before my three children and future son-in-law arrived. But because I had got so much done earlier, it was a very nice holiday

I love my leg warmers also! It really is amazing what a different they make.

I heard the movie lacked commitment to it's cause, did you find that at all? I mean they tried to stay middle of the road, is what I read.

About the movie, well... they certainly painted the NFL as the bad guys. They said good things about the game of football -- talking about its beauty, grace, and power -- but they put the NFL suits in a very bad light. They directly compared them to the tobacco companies and even said that they were using the same lawyers. The only way they were giving them a pass is if they were actually worse than they were portrayed in the movie, and that I couldn't tell you.

They movie began with what happened to Mike Webster, one of the stars of the Steelers dynasty I grew up with, so it was really kind of personal for me. I was really going off football already because of all the criminal charges being brought against some of the players, and the feeling that the game itself was getting mean and encouraging those kinds of personalities. This problem with the brain injuries is really enforcing that feeling for me.

I have been 'off' football for awhile as I just can't watch the sacks, they seem so violent :-/

The NFL, I just don't think they care at all, and then high school football, shudder.
