Today out on the highway it was sunny, but there was a haze which my mind wanted to see as coming from salt dust floating in the air. As the big trucks went by, they kicked up clouds of it. I wonder what effect all the tons of road salt have on the land. It certainly doesn't stop the plants from growing right up to the edge of the pavement.
I always like the drenching Spring rains that wash all that salt and grit away. But not yet - tomorrow night it's supposed to snow again. Too bad; the crocuses are so pretty.
