The day I died, the sun was cold and the
Sky was white.
I shut my eyes to lie for years
Beneath the ice.

Glacial time moved without me
Forgetting me.

And for silence's sake I dared not wake.
So long; the world has gone, and with it
All the life I hate.

This bad, melancholic bit was actually inspired by a South Park episode. Or Encino Man. It was meant to be the tip of the iceberg (hur hur) of a longer poem where I would wake up at the end only to... I can't remember now. I started this a long time ago.

Cry, Ostasis

The day I died, the earth was cold and the
Sky was white.
I shut my eyes to lie for years
Beneath the ice.

And for silence's sake I dared not wake.
So long; the
world has gone, and with it all the
life I hate.
