Anyway, I just saw the same thing. :-) He was trying to reach in and totally slipped. There was much ruckus and then he pulled himself out.
And then, of course, ran off, saying "...Nuthin."

This might be the most extreme example of cruelty to cats I've ever seen. Please click on the link, I promise it's not icky or gross. Horrifying, perhaps. I strongly recommend you not be eating or drinking when you click.

I mentioned my mom vs. the brown recluse in my last post, but I realized I hadn't blogged about the details. I tend not to blog about Serious Business while it's going on, but now that everything is fine I'll talk about it because it is kinda funny. A little teeny bit funny. And shalanna, having included a spider bite in fiction, was curious.

or that I'm rereading The Hobbit and just got through the Gollum section, but I was just walking past a TV with CNN Headline News on, and upon seeing the caption Deadly Bat Attack I immediately thought it was the story of some spelunkers coming to a tragic end. Thursday night there was a snake in the road in front of my place. He was just hanging out for a minute and then crossed over to the park. I was out looking at him (and I'm sorry irish_caffeine, I had to send you a picture of it) when 2 kids on skateboards came by.
