Fiji 2
We climbed a mountain/inactive volcano/ large peak in order to see the sunset.
We found slightly hidden beaches.
They gave us cake because it was someone's birthday.
We travelled in lots of boats.
Climbed a rock and met a new friend...
Went to a 'traditional' Fiji village, and went to church. There was a pig. It was cool.
Saw many a sunset.
Danced a lot too.
Drank out of coconuts.

Under the sea stuff! I didn't actually see a lot of this, my friend Jenny:
took most of the photos, since I spent my first snorkelling experience inhaling seawater and kicking coral (accidentally). Oh dears.

My favourite hostel. This is most definitely Manta Ray island, which was gorgeous. Lush, verdant, aboreal trees and stuff, dark sand, creepy faces hidden in the bushes...Brilliant.
Reef Sharks! We paddled near reef sharks. They are so cool. They wibble around in the shallows, and get turned over in the waves and occasionally get nearly beached. Love sharks. Especially teeny ones. (Maybe two/three feet long?)
We were there for 17 days, and it was pretty cool. Tip: don't travel all the way across the world JUST to go to Fiji. Stick on the end of an Australia/NZ adventure. It got a bit tiring with all the boats and two nights on an island, then a boat, then the ferry, then a boat, then another island. Too much packing up and being on the move to be really relaxing. Plus we got drenched in storms a couple of times on the little boats. Not so fun. But a really pretty and awesome place, especially if you're a water baby.
