We begin our tale at Heathrow Airport, wherein I was sat for a very long time and the others arrived ever so slightly but just late enough to miss the check-in for our original flight. So while I stropped off, they got on to the travel agent and we managed to make a flight later that evening, which went via Hong Kong and Auckland.

Heathrow

Hong Kong
There were guards with proper semi-automatics wandering around, as well as glass cases full of art by local students.

More Hong Kong airport-ness.

We spent 10 Hours Heathrow-Hong Kong, 10 hours Hong Kong to Auckland and 10 hours IN Auckland, before our four hours flight to Nadi.

A park in Auckland. It rained after this. A LOT.

The trip we did was two weeks of island hopping around the Mamanucas and Yasawas, just off one of the larger Fiji islands. We began at South Sea Island which is literally about 100 metres wide. And we still managed to lose Bex.

Due to the time difference, I kept waking up at 6 every morning for the first week, so I got to see loads of dawns :D

We went kayaking. That is literally the size of the island.

Tune in next time for more Fiji sun, sea n sand.

xx
