Yesterday Steph and I spent the afternoon at Third Beach, swimming in the cold but pleasant ocean, getting stoned, listening to Gogol Bordello, and getting sunburnt. I only burned a small patch on my collarbone where I'd missed with the sunscreen, but Steph, who was too good for sunscreen, is pretty much lobsteresque. I think the best part of the day was when two guys had apparently spotted us smoking a joint from across the beach came over and asked if we had any 'chronic' they could buy, flashing a five at us. We told them we didn't have any more, and one of the guys pulled out a bong and was like, "Not even enough to fill the bowl of this?" WHO BRINGS A GIANT YELLOW BONG TO THE BEACH?
