So yesterday when I left for work, I put my key on the dresser for Aaron so he could lock the house when he decided to leave, and told him to put it in the mailbox. When I came home, I picked up my key and promptly lost it, because this morning when we tried to leave I ran around like an idiot for ten minutes trying to find it, and failing. That afternoon when I arrived home the door was locked. I mrrred and rang the bell but there was no answer. Texted Steph and she said she'd be home in about half an hour so I grabbed my book out of my bag and sat on the step reading. Even though I sunburned my back, it was much more enjoyable than that time I waited an hour for Chris and Val to come home at 1:30 a.m. In the rain. In January.
Oh, the kicker? Tams was in the living room the whole time. But she was playing WiiFit and didn't hear the bell. I immediately went out and cut two new keys - one for me, and one for Aaron so I hopefully won't have this problem again.
Replace any question you don't like with one you formulate yourself.
1. How has LJ changed your life?
Well, I did meet someone on here and then move to Omaha, Nebraska to be with them for like three years. We were engaged for about two seconds, too.
2. What do you do before bedtime?
Wash my face and brush my teeth. Internet. Sudoku. Read. Sex, if I'm lucky.
3. What will your dream wedding be like?
Haven't really thought about it. If someone likes me enough to want to get be with me forever and have a big party I guess we can talk about it then.
4. What is the city of your dreams and why?
I love living here and I think this will be where I end up, but I harbour secret romances of Portland, NYC, San Francisco, and London. They've got character.
5. Are you an introvert or extrovert?
Extrovert, except when it comes to talking on the phone or hitting on girls.
6. Which is more blessed, loving someone or being loved by someone?
They both make you feel like ass most of the time. The only good kind of love is the kind that you can't really fuck up, like your family or friends you've had since you were six.
7. Do you trust easily?
Waaaay too easily.
8. If the person you secretly like is already attached, what would you do?
I wouldn't go for them, but a lot of people I know are in open relationships, so if someone 'attached' came after me I would probably assume that's the case. However, please see my answer to #7.
9. Is there anything that has made you unhappy these days?
Sure, but isn't it better to think about the things that do make you happy?
10. What is your best quality?
I'd probably say that I'm understanding, but you'd have to ask someone else.
11. Whats your favorite dinosaur and why?
Brontosaurus. They seem so wise.
12. How do you see yourself?
Awkward, bright, and overzealous.
13. Who are currently the most important people to you?
The ladies I live with, my family, Aaron, Megan, Dennis. And whoever it is that writes my paycheques.
14. What kind of person do you think the person who tagged you is?
No one tagged me, but I took this from Tams' journal. She's basically awesome in every way.
15. Are you generally happy with yourself?
I wish I knew how to make better choices but otherwise I'm pretty cool.
16. How many children do you want to have, if any?
See answer to #3.
17. What's better: to give or to receive?
Give, as long as the person likes whatever I'm giving them (:
18. If you fall in love with two people simultaneously, who would you pick?
I'm not sure it's entirely possible to be 'in love' with two people at once. I'd pick the one that loved me back, though.
19: Would you have 100% safe sex with a stranger for $10,000,000?
How is this even a question. What kind of idiot would say no?
20: What were your parents going to name you if you'd been born the opposite gender?
Well, my brother born two years later than me is named Donald Riley, so I imagine that might've been it.
