Bleh, been dreading posting again on here, because so much has been going on the past week or so. I guess the first thing i can do is update the countdown thing i had going...
My Countdowns
3 days Until i go back to college with an insane limp and a huge-ass stockpile of gauze.
4 Days Until Classes start
28 days Until i come back home for my court date for running that red light.*grumble*
30 days Until i come home and housesit for my former stage assistant.
~Now, to recap the past....week, already? its been a week?! damnit ><
Thursday I went to drive down to po-town and pick up Tom, when he called me about halfway through my trip, to say the subway'd been delayed about an hour and a half and he'd be two hours late. So i pulled over into a CVS parking lot and proceeded to call my friend Toni-Anne, because i hadn't talked to her in ages, and she loooves to talk, so we talked for two whole hours. Then i went and bought a thing of chocolate milk and drank half of it for breakfast. Picked up Tom at the train station, and we went to the South Hills Mall, where he was very quiet and not very interested with anything there, which was disappointing, i'd expected we'd spend more time there. So I drove us back up to my town, pointing out where I work and my dad's store on the way up. He was adorably surprised at the rural area. Things like how there aren't streetlights every 5 feet, stores look like houses (cause they are) and that mailboxes are at the ends of driveways. I think the first place we actually went was the river/train tracks, because its my favorite spot in the whole area. We walked along the train tracks and just kinda enjoyed the sunset really, and talked. it was really nice, and i think i good way to kind of relax ourselves, as i know we both are pretty nervous and shy kids -__- we then went to my moms house and played parappa and umjammer lammy for an hour or so, then went to my brothers basketball game, which was already over. So we went back to see the volleyball game and then left, but who should be there but a few of my friends, maggie, stephanie, rachel, brendan, and (awkward) my ex-boyfriend, dave. i intro'd tom to all of them, then when we came back from getting a drink, brendan and dave were gone. then we went to my dads house for pizza, and he ordered pineapple/buffalo chicken pizza and peppers/olives, which neither tom and i liked very much. after we left there we went to HVMall to see Hostel. Haha, it was all tits until about 2/3rds through the movie, which was hilarious to me, and embarrassing for him. There was one scene where a guys achilles tendons are sliced, then we tries to walk away, and falls down, which i closed my eyes for, but unfortunately tom didn't, and felt nauseous for a few minutes after, we almost left the theater, but after that bit he said he was fine. Once we left the theater around midnight i realized i'd parked on the other side of the mall, so we held hands while we walked around the mall to my car, which was fun. Then drove to the only all-night dinner in the area and had milkshakes and grilled cheese.
Friday Once we got back to my moms I left the thing of choc. milk in the backseat of the car (this will be important later) and we watched Evil Dead 2(which i'd never seen) and Rocky Horror (which he'd never seen) and just cuddled under blankets, since my mom always has the heat at like 50 and it was freezing! i'm absolutely amazed we got as comfortable with each other as we did. he slept on a mattress on the floor of my room, slept from like 5am-1pm. Played a board game untill about 5ish, then went to my brothers basketball game which was suspenseful, and they lost in the last minute by one point. Went back to my moms house and somewhat-finished the game, and I finished up that milk from my car . then headed out to the bowling alley where'd i'd talked with all of my friends about meeting at 10 for bowling. I had invited about 20 kids, two showed up, not including Linda and her boyfriend Eric, who actually work at the place (linda's parents own the bowling alley). Toni and Megan showed up, but couldn't bowl since they'd gone clubbing the night before. Tom and I played against Linda and Eric. They totally owned us though, as they bowl like once a week.Then I drove Tom to the train station, we waited for the train, then kissed goodbye and he got on the train. I was halfway to the car when my phone rang, and it was him, and we have no luck with trains. The trains after 1030 in poughkeepsie come up from the city then stop running, so nothing goes back to GCT. I had to get gas for my car, so we went and got gas, I got a large soda and he got loots of food, which surprised me. We drove home, he registered for his second semester classes, and then we went to sleep.
SaturdayNow is where that milk comes into play. While we had been sleeping Friday, it had been warm outside, and the milk had been sitting in my car, which had gotten warm. According to my mom and Tom's analysis, the milk had started to turn, but i drank it before it was noticeable.
Saturday around 6am i walked slowly to the bathroom and was gagging and pretty nauseous. 4 hours later i woke up and laid down on my moms bed (which she was making at the time) and told her how i was feeling. She gave me a pill and told me drink Coke, as it settles the stomach for some reason. Took a shower, then tom and i got in my car and drove back to the station, kissed goodbye and off he went. I drove home, watched Azumanga Daioh until 230 when i left for work from 3-8. Got home, watched half of the Island, went to sleep around midnight.
Sunday Woke up at 6am to get to work by 7. INSANE snow/ice storm he night before. Preceded by flooding rain. I parked my car in a puddle, which froze and I couldn't get out of. So i took my moms car, which had no gas in it. Made it to work on time, and we had no customers for two hours, and my superior cashier told me "you shoulda called in like everyone else! haha!" grr. then she was chastising me for being tired, saying shed just wanted my last day of work to have a good amount of hours. she doesn't know me at ALL. After break i was more awake, but still half-dead. Got to leave at 2, an hour early. went to my moms, finished the Island, then laid in bed and watched more AzuManga Daioh, which is helping me practice my japanese for next semester (what i actually should be doing now is studying. i think ive forgotten all katakana) Drove to my dads and did something. i dunno what.
Monday I dunno what i did, i think i just hung around the house. Toni came over around 7 and we finished watching Fruits Basket, which was amazing, absolutely. Then watched the first episode of a few animes I have, to determine exactly what we'll watch next. I think we decided on Ruroni Kenshin, which is exciting. I cant wait! Talked about how she and Megan liked meeting Tom for the first time, and made my night by saying we're complimentary to each other and a cute couple, all the things you tell your friend when they ask such a thing, really.
Tuesday Woke up around 11, finished the first dvd of Kenshin (which is all i have atm) had breakfast and just kinda surfed the web till around 3 when we got ready for the day, she went home, and i got in the car with my dad for foot surgery. yay... Whats more fun than having needles stuck in your foot then gaping holes cut in them that causes you to limp/use crutches for 2 months? really, name something. I'm gonna go with castration. Anyway, that done my dad drove me home and i spent the night watching TV and working on a new Cruelle stitching thing. Went to bed around 3.
Wednesday/Yesterday Hung around the house, tried not to move (my dads threatened murder, as last time i didnt stay off my foot very long and it took ages to heal , so now i'm under house arrest till i get to college sunday) but i ended up doing laundry and wash dishes and stuff. Watched a lot of West Wing Season 5, and some Law & Order. Maggie came over around 7 and we watched Once Bitten, which is a hilariously bad 80s movie with a very young Jim Carrey. Played WoW from about midnight to 2am, when i went to sleep,
Today woke up around 130 when my dad called and woke me up, then watched more west wing and now i'm here. Gonna play WoW with Tom untill i have dinner around 8ish, then change my bandages, pack for my moms and get driven to her house.
Future Stay at my mom's till Saturday night, maybe see a movie on saturday with my mom, go get school supplies. Sunday afternoon My dad and i will pack up my shit into his jeep, drop by my moms and pick up my tv, then get to albany and unpack. Classes start monday.
