TIFF Day Two
Okay, Day Two and all is well.
Saw one movie: Then She Found Me
Starring Helen Hunt, Colin Firth, Matthew Broderick, Bette Midler.
A pretty mediocre movie. Colin Firth, Bette Midler and Matt Broderick were great. Helen Hunt...not so much. I thought the movie was trying to hard to be funny and angsty all at the same time. And it just seemed trite to me. Meh. Of course, it was a public screening, so Helen Hunt was there and so the audience cheered like it was the best movie on earth. Which it wasn't.
What else? Not much. Had to kick Michael Moore out of a cinema...trying to clear out the theatre to get the next one started, and he's just sitting there talking. Puh. Saw Mr. Ebert for the first time in two years. Poor guy and his jaw cancer. He was always pretty nice. A little pushy, but we could deal.
Tomoro am REPPING at the AGO for an hour and a half. Rep wages too. Woot.
Am poor.
Oh yes, and to the driver of the gray Nissan Frontier SE, licence plate 133 OVF - learn to drive asshole!!!! If you're going slower than everybody else, get the fuck out of the passing lane!!!
